50 Hour Meditation & Yin Yoga Teacher Training
Fridays 6pm - 9pm for 14 weeks in total, starting February 7th, 2025.
For yin yoga enthusiasts or yoga teachers keen to add a little more awareness and softness into their classes and practice.
This sounds divineFeeling ready to deepen your practice and enrich your teaching skills while exploring the stillness and depth of Yin Yoga and meditation?
What if you dedicated a fourteen Friday evenings to a transformational journey with Suzie Q, Karen Gruber, and Annika Saigi, three passionate and seasoned teachers in Yin Yoga and meditation, that could redefine how you approach yoga—for yourself and your students?
Our Yin Yoga teacher training is intentional, accessible, and uniquely designed to cater to the needs of yoga teachers and experienced practitioners. It's not just another training program but a transformative experience that will enrich your teaching skills and deepen your practice.
It’s simple yet profound. We focus on the essential foundations of Yin Yoga—meridians, elements, Taoist philosophy, Buddhism, mindfulness, and meditation—giving you the tools to lead impactful, soulful and dreammmmmmmmy classes.
At Nin Yoga, we’re more than a studio; we’re a family. A warm and welcoming community that supports, inspires and shares a love for yoga and this wonderful life.
We would LOVE to welcome you into this intimate training to help you grow as a teacher and create even more meaningful experiences for your students.
This is your chance to refine your skills, expand your knowledge, and explore a quieter, more reflective side of yoga. There is a reason why Yin Yoga has become so popular over the past decade, so let's peel back the layers and explore why.
I'm ready to soften.
Hi, I’m Annika, and I am the founder of Nin Yoga and the director of this Yoga Teacher Training.
I know what it feels like to have a lot of balls in the air, I have a young family and hold space for a big yoga ‘family’ too. There is a lot on my plate, and I know it’s the same for you too.
When I put together yoga teacher trainings, I always have that in mind. I wanted it to work for you regardless of your other commitments, such as a family or a job.
I also wanted it to be affordable to everyone, when I did yoga teacher training myself I benefited enormously from a generous extended payment plan. I now want to pay that forward.
When I think about this community that I have built, I often pinch myself. I’m just an ordinary person but what that shows is that if I can do it, anyone can. Great yoga teachers come from all walks of life and all backgrounds.
My heart feels so full when I think about the teacher trainings we have put together.
This community that we have built feels so much bigger than me and for good reason! All of teachers who have qualified through this teacher training are incredible and they will go on to pass this knowledge and wisdom for generations to come.
This training will remind you slowing down is so important to keep sharing.
The biggest joy for me right now in my life is how I’ve been able to apply the teachings of yoga to my personal relationships, to my family, and to the way I run my business.
I’m a better mum and a better partner and I’m kinder to myself because of yoga. My little human even teaches her classmates yoga at day-care. Pretty cool right?!
I wouldn’t be where I am without it and I want to bring you on the journey too … so I’ve created a teacher training that will facilitate that with ease and flow.
It’s my heartfelt wish that you’ll join us into the quiet that is Yin Yoga & Meditation.
Payment Plan
Get started for $40, then pay every single week after for 21 weeks in total.
What makes our Yoga Teacher Training different from others you ask?
There are a few key points to mention about this particular training that make it different from ALLLLL of the rest out there at the moment.
Friday night classes. We have noticed that most of our community works in full-time roles, and the weekend is full of commitments. Teacher training is usually not accessible (anyone else got little kiddies?!). So, for this round, we have made the classes 6pm to 9pm on a Friday night, for 14 nights in a row (we skip Good Friday, because you know, Easter!).
Extended payment plans. As someone who does not own a money tree out the back, often the only way ongoing learning has been accessible for me is with payment plans. We wanted to stretch these out and give a generous 21 weeks at $40 a week. We know this offering will help with cash flow, so the investment for this teacher training is much easier to manage.
Exceptional Faculty. All of the teachers in this teacher training are absolute experts in their field and are respected by our industry and beyond, with nearly 50 years collective experience in Yin Yoga and Meditation. It has always been such an honour to bring these teachers out to Western Sydney, and we look forward to hosting them!
Combination of In-person AND online. We will meet in studio every single Friday, but that being said, we will also record every single session and put it on an online platform with you, along with resources, extra Yin Yoga classes, and homework. If you miss a session, we will have it recorded for you, just catch up before next class.
We’re DIVERSE. When people think about yoga teacher training, often the first thing that pops into their head is a skinny, rich, white lady of leisure who is on their next spiritual kick. Our community is not based on that stereotype. We are a bunch of real people, in all shapes, forms, ages, and colours, who just LOVE yoga and want to share it with ALL those it resonates with (that being said, however, if you are skinny, rich, and white, we would of course still love to have you join the community!). English, your second language? Retired? Just finished High School? Can’t touch your toes? Hand on heart, neither could I when I first started teacher training! Just in the last class I taught, I had a 19-year-old AND a 60-year-old. We are a total mixed bag and really proud of it.
We at Nin Yoga are based in Western Sydney, where we are surrounded by people of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
All are welcome.

Kind words from graduates
Who is this training for?
Yin Yoga enthusiasts: If you've been practicing yin yoga for a while and have a deep love for the practice, our training is perfect for you. Whether you aspire to teach or simply desire a deeper understanding of yoga, our program will enrich your knowledge, broaden your perspective, and take your practice to new heights.
Please note that if you are not already a certified yoga teacher, we can not certify you in this training either as this is considered an "advanced" module as part of "Yoga Alliance". That being said, if you want to join us to simply deepen your own practice, you are more than welcome to.
Yoga Teachers: If you are already a 200 hour level 1 yoga teacher or higher, doing this training will mean you are then certified to share Yin yoga also. This means you can add Yin Yoga to your classes, and ultimately have more of an offering to your beloved students.
Who is this training not for?
Beginners with limited yoga experience: Our training is designed for individuals with a solid foundation in yoga. If you're brand new to yoga or have limited experience, we recommend starting with some of our weekly open-level yoga classes, or even better, our 4-Week Beginner Yoga Course, to build your practice before embarking on a teacher training program.
Those seeking a quick certification: Our training is not a "fast-track" program. We believe in the value of a comprehensive and immersive training experience to truly cultivate skilled and authentic yoga teachers. If you're looking for a quick certification without the commitment to in-depth learning and self-reflection, our program may not be the best fit.
Yoga & meditation is for every day in your life.
It’s for the days you are feeling overwhelmed, the days you are struggling to get up and go to work, the days you are having arguments with your partner, and every other day in between. It gives us the tools to be calmer and more patient parents, more open-minded and present friends, and put simply just kinder and more peaceful humans in general.

Learn more about your lead teacher.
Hi again, I'm Annika Saigi, I've been teaching yoga for 8+ years and a studio owner for 6.
My journey started in India, the birthplace of yoga, where I completed my first 500 hours of teacher training. When I returned I was full of fire and inspiration to share yoga with my Western Sydney community.
I grew up here in the west (Colyton High School & St Marys Senior 👋 anyone?), where we didn't have any studios, so I thought 'why not open local studios that I want to practice in?!' (I was pretty sick of traveling far and wide for a yoga class by then!).
Nin Yoga was born!
Nin Yoga started at the local Neighbourhood Centre, which we outgrew in just 3 months! It was time to invest in the bricks and mortar studio, known today as Nin Yoga St Marys.
Some years later, I'm proud to say we are still there, and have continued to grow with the addition of Nin Yoga Penrith, located across the Netball courts in Jamisontown. This is where our teacher training will be hosted.
Sharing yoga and bringing together inspiration teachers is my passion and I've taught more than 3000 hours in Yoga and Meditation classes over the years. I've also taught in several other teacher trainings which was so rewarding. I am also passionate about building this community, supporting local artists, and spending time with the fam bam, 6-year-old Maya, and 2-year-old Nara.
My classes are insightful, engaging, and sometimes challenging (but in a fun way!).
I look forward to holding this container with some of my very own teachers, right here, close to home, in a way that’s accessible, affordable, and achievable.
Directing our own teacher training feels good in our bellies and our hearts, and we know it will feel good in yours too.
What are the Dates?
Love to plan in advance? We love that too! (and future yoga teacher you will thank you for that also).
As mentioned, our course is every Friday night 6pm - 9pm.
We expect you to make every single in person session, as well as be present on the online sessions with your camera on ready to learn.
If for whatever reason you can not make a session, we will have catch up work waiting for you (this will be extra homework!).
We get it, life happens. If you give us notice in advance of what classes you can not make, that will help us to coordinate it also.
You need to be present for at least 80% of the course. If you miss more than that for reasons out of your control, you are welcome to join us at a later date one more time at no extra cost.
Our intention is to meet you wherever you are. You got this!
